As the Digital Sales Leader for these two critical industries, you will lead a high-performing team focused on scaling impact across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. This role blends strategic leadership, partner ecosystem orchestration, and AI-driven innovation to accelerate adoption of Microsoft cloud and security solutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years software industry sales and negotiation experience with year-over-year growth.
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field AND 7+ years experience in sales, negotiation and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations or related work experience.
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field AND 6+ years experience in sales, negotiation and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations or related work experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years software industry sales and negotiation experience with year-over-year growth.
  • 7+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to articulate and apply these capabilities to address the unique challenges faced by Education (K–12), Public Sector and Nonprofit organisation through partner-led engagements.
  • Ideally with basic business proficiency in additional languages like Korean, Mandarin and/or Japanese.

Responsibilities

  • You will leverage your ability to attract, retain, and develop the best resources in the field. Inspire and foster a culture of customer-centricity, AI signals selling and consumption, adoption and use through collaboration with peers and extended teams.
  • You will actively maintain and leverage a comprehensive understanding of their customers' business needs, strategies and priorities within the portfolio and coach teams to anticipate their customers' needs and to educate customers on positioning Microsoft products and services to increase customer budget.
  • You will empower virtual teams to define strategies, objectives, and a rhythm of business (ROB) for territory planning across the customer set, clearly articulating standards and priorities by directing the development and implementation of strategies for maximising digitally selling and customer acquisition opportunities. Coach sellers and leverage digital-first tools and platforms to support scalable customer engagement and partner co-selling.
  • You will define the expectations and goals to guide the development strategies to manage pipeline and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing and mitigating risks and ensure strategy alignment with business priorities and drive engagements with key internal partners, business and technical decision makers to develop long-range, comprehensive, tailored business strategies that meet Microsoft's and customers' needs.
  • As a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers across their business areas and the industry, you will direct and facilitate the development and delivery of compelling, value-proposition presentations (e.g., with the use of business cases) and specialized business plans for clients that accelerate the closing of deals, facilitates connections between customers and broader Microsoft solutions, and consistently drives business outcomes.
