Overview
TheMarTech & AI Governance Directorwill lead the strategic and operational governance functions across the MarTech and AI portfolio. This role is responsible for architecting and operationalizing governance frameworks that span Responsible AI (RAI), Web Compliance, Platform Access, and AI Transformation. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical fluency, policy acumen, and change leadership to drive scalable, compliance, and business-aligned governance practices.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in governance, compliance, enterprise architecture, or AI transformation roles OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience working with or in marketing technology platforms.
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience with responsible AI principles, data governance and digital frameworks
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in governance, compliance, enterprise architecture, or AI transformation roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in governance, compliance, enterprise architecture, or AI transformation roles OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- 6+ years technology/process improvement experience.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, GenAI platforms, and enterprise marketing systems
- Experience working successfully in a cross functional organization
Marketing Technology M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities
- Governance Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement governance models that align with enterprise standards and business goals across MarTech and AI platforms, including Adobe Access Management, market unit of production (MUP) processes, and financial recovery initiatives.
- Responsible AI Leadership: Serve as the division lead for RAI governance, implementing the Responsible AI Standard (RAIS), managing sensitive use processes, and ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
- Web & Platform Compliance: Oversee web compliance and platform access governance, ensuring adherence to internal policies, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.
- AI Transformation & Change Management: Lead change management efforts to embed AI governance into business processes, partnering with the GenAI center of excellence and platform teams to drive adoption and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Privacy, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure governance frameworks are actionable, measurable, and embedded in day-to-day operations.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of architects and governance leads across RAI, Web Compliance, and AI Transformation, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Identify key stakeholders to support governance and ensure their teams are following the processes designed in the governance model.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for RAI risk, compliance, platform access, data quality and remediation metrics
- Maintain and update governance policies to reflect emerging regulations and enterprise priorities
- Define and manage a governance practice budget, team roadmap, tools, and vendor contracts
