As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead portfolio development for Surface Accessories, driving business strategy and defining product vision, working in close collaboration with leaders across finance, marketing, engineering, and operations. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your understanding of end-to-end business strategy and operations, engage in a world-class product management team, and deliver exceptional product experiences across hardware and software. This role is based in Redmond, Washington and allows partial flexibility in working from home.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience driving product strategy in a Product Management role or capacity
  • 3+ years of experience supporting product vision, developing roadmaps and analyzing customer insights and industry trends
  • 3+ years of experience working with business teams and product financials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in accessories, peripherals, or adjacent product categories.
  • Experience engaging with both engineering and operations teams and communicating with executive leadership, aligning organizations on a common vision and strategy, and the ability to overcome ambiguity and uncertainty to do that
  • Deep understanding of product management, curiosity and passion for customers, products and growing the business

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive end-to-end portfolio strategy that aligns with business goals, monetization levers, and customer and market segment opportunities, connecting to the broader Surface and Windows roadmaps.
  • Lead exploration into new product categories, plus new development and go-to-market models.
  • Lead through ambiguity, translating ideas into product vision, identifying clear roadmaps, crisp requirements, and compelling product narratives grounded in customer insight and market foresight. You will lead through influence by aligning engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders without direct authority, building trust and shared ownership to drive product definition and business case development to support portfolio growth and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a model of excellence in product management, empowering teams by creating clarity, surfacing obstacles, and modeling effective decision-making and product advocacy.
  • Lead the Surface Accessories business, bringing together partners from Product Marketing, Business Planning, Finance and Go-to-Market to develop and maintain a strategic business plan and define and track success metrics, serving as the connective tissue across these functions to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Keep a pulse on the market, tracking competitors, market trends, and industry shifts; translating those into strategic opportunities or threats.
  • Advocate for your products and customers, combining an understanding of the ecosystem and categories to guide product, portfolio and business evolution.
