We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing – AI Business Solutions team leader to lead our Product Led Growth (PLG) and Direct-to-Customer efforts to drive growth via commercial revenue and usage for our AI Business Solutions organization. We seek a people-manager with a proven record of managing high-performance teams, fostering collaboration, nurturing talent and embodying Microsoft’s culture and values. In this role, you will lead by example as a player-coach that delivers success through collaboration, empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.
Job Location: The primary location for this position is Redmond, WA. Additionally, there are three other locations where this role may be based. Candidates who do not reside in one of these four areas will be relocated to Redmond.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams).
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience with SaaS products and a technical skill set that enables effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years people management experience.
- Experience working collaboratively across a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic working environment with a high degree of accountability in an innovative, startup-like or agile environment, with ability to execute.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects (often including project management of cross-functional virtual teams).
Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Partnering with our product and engineering teams develop a comprehensive vision, and detailed execution strategy on how our product can deliver ideal experiences that delight, and drive usage and upsell motions for our customers. Optimize existing motions and build new ones including in-product triggers, trial programs, testing frameworks, visual guidelines, messaging, etc.
- Direct-to-Customer Programs: Develop a strategy to directly target our customers partnering with Engines + Experiences and Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) / sales organization to run focused programs to drive leads and pipeline, using Account Based Marketing and lead generation skill sets.
- Integrated Growth Campaigns: Build a funnel from marketing visual execution through to the product experience, driving activation and impact – ensuring consistent measurement and high creative bar.
- Cross-functional Orchestration: Lead teams to build partnerships and coordinate efforts (e.g., Engines & Experiences, Software Engineering [SWE], Business Planning, other Product Marketing Managers [PMMs]) to create and deliver product value and company growth. Oversee across the cross-functional matrix as the Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for Direct-to-Customer and PLG efforts, utilize advanced knowledge across product and channel experiences revenue and uses a wide range of strategies across the whole market experience (e.g., price, channel, product, promotion) to meet revenue / usage goals and make changes where needed to address gaps.
- Measurement and Performance: Partner through the funnel to establish benchmarks, best practices and actionable insights via scorecards to optimize, test and measure our experiences and programs.
- Team Leader: Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketers to achieve business objectives while developing and nurturing talent. Help to shape a team culture where everybody thrives.
