The Cloud & AI organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate. Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, a theme of inspiring excellence, and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world. Microsoft is one of the largest enterprise service companies in the world.

Are you excited by the prospect of building identity and cybersecurity services at cloud scale? Microsoft operates thousands of internal Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) tenants that enable our workforce to develop, monitor, and test Microsoft’s software and services. We develop solutions to fully automate tenant creation, configuration, security, and inventory.

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to help architect and design the tools and solutions that enable us to build and manage large volumes of highly secure Entra ID tenants. This role will draw deeply upon your expertise in Entra and Azure technologies, your ability to design for scale, and your enthusiasm to mentor and share your knowledge within and across teams.
