As a Digital Security Engineer, you will take the lead in harnessing the power of AI to achieve customer leadership. Your efforts will be instrumental in executing solution sales strategies by leveraging various programs and offers. Additionally, you will be responsible for selling cloud services and platforms tailored for our managed customers. Furthermore, you will play a significant role in enabling AI and Digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.
As a Digital Security Engineer, you will work within a virtual team of sales, technical, partner and consulting resources to enhance the team capabilities for extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust and cloud security as well as Microsoft Purview portfolio empowering our customers to protect, govern, and safeguard their sensitive data while also managing regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining customer & employee privacy. Being part of this team will allow you to strengthen both your consultative selling skills as well as your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based security & compliance solutions, architectures, programs, and technologies. You will make an impact by helping clients secure their organizations. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

- Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- Cybersecurity industry experience. Microsoft security portfolio knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated experience selling complex, cloud-based solutions to small and medium enterprise customers.
- Demonstrated experience driving adoption across multiple stakeholders with varying agendas.
- Proven self-starter able to work towards delivery of goals as best practices are being developed
- Able to drive deeper technical security conversations and conduct product/solution demonstrations.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or related experience.
- Collaborative. Work cohesively with members of the Microsoft sales & services team, Microsoft partners, engineering, and marketing to solve customer and partner issues, leverage best practices, & deliver results.
- Growth Mindset. Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development.
- Purposeful Planner & Executor – Delivers business impact with intentional planning, driving clarity to the team with consistent coaching rhythms, removing blockers and ensuring quarterly business budget goals are met.
- Disciplined Operator – Maintains excellence in pipeline management, forecasting and driving integrated territory and budget achievement planning.
- 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Certification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
- Strategic thinking & execution. Ability to develop sales and business strategy
Responsibilities
- Scale Customer Engagements - Subject matter expert leading technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, production ready pilots for the Microsoft solutions, with a focus on customer acquisition efforts at the top of the funnel and potentially new to our cloud technologies.
- Scale Through Partners - Orchestrating complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft online services and solutions.
- Build Strategy - Influences competitive strategy leveraging partner and internal teams; Acts as the voice of the customer by driving new feedback, blockers, insights, resource items across communities to support customer’s business outcomes and opportunities to promote usage.
- Solution design & Proof - Helping identify and diagnose technical, architectural, and competitive blockers and respective solutions for sales opportunities and usage decision blockers and helping ensure that these solutions are implemented, prove capabilities and integration into customer environment in alignment with Microsoft standards.
- Technical Leadership - Prepare technical insights and key scenarios required to drive the right technical and business solution outcomes. Own all technical discussions against competitors in the security domain that include Microsoft and competitor offerings.
- Showcase a learning mentality: Demonstrate a willingness to invest in your personal learning in the Cybersecurity arena with team members.
