Overview
The Commercial Products & Infrastructure (CPI) organization is responsible for enabling business decisions to drive revenue, shape capital expenditure (CapEx) investments, manage cloud & AI (artificial intelligence) capacity, deliver margin excellence, and ensure ongoing resource allocation aligned to strategic engineering priorities. Within CPI, the Networking Infrastructure team is an exciting and fast-evolving team that has a direct impact on the Microsoft strategy for networking and geographic expansion.
As Senior Finance Manager, AI & Cloud Infrastructure, this critical role will lead financial strategy and oversight for AI and Technology investments, partnering closely with Azure Networking, Cloud Data Center Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment with long-term infrastructure goals and business priorities.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of financial modeling experience.
- 1+ year(s) of business partnering experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience in Cloud Networking or Datacenter Infrastructure.
- 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.

Responsibilities
- Provide leaders with support and insight during financial close periods, and review recurring financial reporting, and presentations to identify trends and create action plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations to achieve margin goals, and collaborate with business leaders to define financial analysis action plans. Additionally, apply a deep understanding of Microsoft Finance and business to evaluate results and analysis, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to new methods and approaches to data collection and analysis, and provide teammates with advice on data management and operations.
- Lead efforts to leverage analytics technology to increase productivity, and assimilate data into a clear narrative.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and reporting requirements by reviewing the accuracy of financial documents and business processes.
- Consult with business partners on sharing financial information and remaining consistent with corporate policies.
