Dynamics 365 is Microsoft’s suite of enterprise software that power many of the largest businesses in the world. The Customer Experience Applications Team delivers Dynamics 365 Customer Service Omnichannel that lets our customers run intelligent and highly scalable contact centers. We are building the next generation of our applications running on Azure that pull together Dynamics 365, Office 365 and a number of other Microsoft cloud services to deliver high value, complete, and predictive application scenarios across all devices and form factors.
Omnichannel for Customer Service is a robust application that extends the power of Dynamics 365 Customer Service to enable organizations to instantly connect and engage with their customers via channels like Live Chat, Voice, and SMS.
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Experience Applications team, you will work with senior business and technology leaders as well as internal business users and partners to conceive, design and implement Dynamics 365 applications and pick the best technical architecture to solve their business needs.

Qualifications
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java
- OR equivalent experience
- Proven development experience with enterprise-scale services
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of proven experience applying generative AI technologies to accelerate engineering innovation and deliver scalable solutions
- Experience delivering Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform solutions
- Passion for improving software quality and engineering excellence
- Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience in developing and debugging products and test code within REST and gRPC
- Focus on customers success, zero trust security and compliance
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
As an engineer you will be responsible for implementing features towards a wide variety of services within Dynamics 365 products portfolio as well as ensuring they are built to meet enterprise quality standards and cloud scale requirements, with the result being software that is used by individuals and businesses throughout the world. In short, you will do the following:
- Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software components and services
- Embrace and use state-of-the-art new technologies
- Participate in technical discussions and bring new ideas to the table
- Own quality and devops for your code
- Work with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to design and specify new features from the engineering standpoint
- Develop software that empowers customers to optimize their business processes
- Author internal tools that improve the teams’ quality and productivity
- Contribute to the positive, solution focused and creative team spirit
- Support less experienced team members in their progress and development
- Embody our culture and values
Throughout your tasks, you will work closely with Program Managers and other Software Engineers to optimize design, quality and functionality as Microsoft places a premium on the ability to work well in a team environment.
