With a vision to "Build and sell Microsoft AI, Cloud applications, services, and devices with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more," SME&C Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions–at scale. As part of GCPS, Device Partner Sales (DPS) plays a critical role in achieving this mission. We build, market and sell breakthrough AI-powered devices and cloud experiences with partners, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), device distribution and reseller channels, Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and Silicon providers. We work closely across the device partner ecosystem and internal teams to transform the world of computing.
Opportunities in DPS are expansive. We span the entire product lifecycle from incubation, prototyping, and portfolio planning to the device design, and selling them through the Retail, Distribution and Reseller channel, sell-through to their consumer and commercial customers. As a member of our team, you will be part of growing a multi-billion-dollar business, charting new areas of innovation, and contributing to our partnership engagements worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Windows devices and AI services in partnership with the strength of our device partner ecosystem.
As a Partner Marketing Manager, you lead strategic marketing planning, execution, and performance tracking with Device partners to drive sales for Copilot+ and Windows 11 PCs. You leverage Microsoft’s resources and investments to align partner priorities with business objectives, crafting outcome-driven co-marketing plans. With a deep understanding of partner economics, you bridge Microsoft’s goals with joint initiatives. You analyze competitor products and marketing strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, enabling full-funnel marketing activities that build pipeline, maximize return of investment (ROI), and boost engagement. As a digital marketing specialist, you champion partner products across Microsoft platforms.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of marketing industry experience, preferably in the PC hardware space with experience managing multiple product categories and a complex sales motion.
- 4+ years of marketing operations, budget and project management.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years at building integrated partner marketing plans and campaigns across multiple marketing disciplines.
- 6+ interfacing with partners and a proven track record delivering growth/performance metrics.
- Proven success in driving marketing execution and ROI through thoughtful planning, operational efficiency, creative delivery, team readiness, and data-informed insights.
- Adept at presentating to groups of all sizes and levels and a successful track record of sales and negotiation skills, including advanced sales knowledge.
- Embraces consultative communication and executive-level engagement, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for cross-functional partner success.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to rapid change with agility and thoughtful risk-taking.
- Proven success in leading and nurturing high-performing, diverse, and geographically distributed teams.
- Analytical capabilities to uncover growth opportunities, guide strategic investments, and enhance marketing ROI.
Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
Marketing Planning
- Builds and completes the Shared Success Plans (SSP) or joint marketing plans with partners aligned with Microsoft's goals and DPS objectives.
- Analyzes the competition to plan marketing that helps Hero Copilot+ Devices win share.
- Aligns Partner to embed Microsoft’s priority messaging on Copilot+ PCs, Windows 11, and AI differentiation.
- Concentrates marketing investments in prioritized markets to maximize the impact and return, and investing in sales-driven marketing activities for Windows 10 end-of-support (EOS) opportunities.
- Commands critical thinking to understand market dynamics and target for upside & acceleration
Execution
- Understands full funnel campaigns of partners & interjects the ideal marketing mix for Microsoft benefit
- Prioritizes measurement of business impact on marketing activities (key performance indicators) and investments (ROI)
- Builds & shares best practices and learnings
- Ensures guidelines of compliance, privacy, brand, funding, scope of work (SOW)/ contracts, proof of execution (POE) are followed
- Area specialist for funnel creation & conversion activities (like proof of concept (POCs), Tech Assessments, Telecalling and device assortment)
- Owns the full funnel marketing ROI execution
Manage & Monitor
- Drives channel recruitment, enablement and development to drive value differentiation
- Coaches partner on audience, insights, full funnel ROI focus, measure business impact & track learnings
- Owns executive engagement on marketing
- Nurtures partner direct to market with readiness & investments to drive growth
