Overview
As the Strategic Enterprise Account Executive , you will serve as the strategic point of contact between Microsoft and one of the world’s largest logistics companies. This role is responsible for driving digital transformation, cloud adoption, and innovation across the customers global operations by aligning Microsoft’s portfolio with the business priorities. You will lead a cross-functional virtual teams of Microsoft specialists, partners, and engineering resources to deliver high-impact solutions that accelerate the customers growth, operational efficiency, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR 13+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
- 8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.
- Experience managing large, complex accounts with multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in technology or logistics-related industries.
- Experience communicating, negotiating, and working with executives.
- Experience navigating complex organizational structures and influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience working with or selling to global logistics providers.
• Experience with supply chain technologies, IoT, AI/ML, and sustainability solutions.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
Strategic Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.

Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership:
Own the end-to-end relationship with Strategic Global Customer, developing a multi-year account strategy aligned with their digital roadmap and Microsoft’s enterprise priorities.
Sales Execution:
Drive revenue growth across Microsoft Cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Security) by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing workloads, and closing strategic deals.
Drive deals from discovery to close, leveraging consultative selling and strategic account planning.
Executive Engagement:
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to influence decision-making and position Microsoft as a long-term innovation partner.
Industry Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of logistics and supply chain trends to co-create solutions that address customers most pressing challenges, including automation, AI, sustainability, and last-mile delivery.
Team Leadership:
Orchestrate a high-performing virtual team of Microsoft resources and partners to deliver value across business units, geographies, and technology domains.
Customer Success:
Ensure successful deployment and adoption of Microsoft solutions, driving measurable business outcomes and customer.
Pipeline Ownership:
Build, manage, and optimize a robust sales pipeline across assigned territories or verticals.
Forecasting Accuracy:
Deliver reliable forecasts through disciplined CRM hygiene, deal qualification, and data-driven insights.
Collaboration:
Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align pipeline generation efforts and improve conversion rates.
Reporting:
Provide weekly updates on pipeline health, forecast changes, and deal progression to leadership.
Customer Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
