The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
We are seeking a strategic communicator and narrative architect to lead storytelling for Microsoft Incident Response (DART) and drive executive communications for the Security Customer Success Unit (CSU). This role will shape the value proposition and messaging for Microsoft’s cybersecurity response capabilities, coach field teams on effective delivery, and elevate the voice of Security CSU leadership across internal and external platforms.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in strategic communications, executive messaging, or product marketing in cybersecurity or enterprise technology space.
- Experience crafting narratives for technical audiences and coaching senior leaders.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 8+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft’s security portfolio, especially Incident Response and DART services.
- Solid writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence across functions and levels in a matrixed organization.
Business Strategy IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities
Narrative Development & Messaging:
• Own and evolve the end-to-end storytelling for Microsoft Incident Response and DART, articulating our unique value to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with the Security marketing team to ensure the marketing plan reflects and amplifies the Incident Response value prop.
• Translate technical capabilities into compelling, customer-centric narratives that resonate across executive, technical, and field audiences.
• Partner with DART and Security CSU leadership to align messaging with strategic priorities and customer needs
Field Enablement & Coaching:
• Develop and deliver training, tools, and coaching to empower security sellers and CSAs to confidently land the Microsoft Incident Response value proposition.
• Collaborate with field readiness and enablement teams to embed messaging into skilling programs and customer engagement playbooks
Executive Communications:
• Lead executive communications for Security CSU leadership, including keynote development, internal all-hands, customer briefings, and strategic announcements.
• Craft high-impact content that reflects the voice and vision of Security CSU executives, ensuring consistency and clarity across channels
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with stakeholders across DART, Threat Intelligence, Security Marketing, and Unified Support to ensure message alignment and amplification.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on narrative strategy and communication effectiveness.
