Microsoft Consumer Operations is looking for an Order and Fulfillment Technical Solutions Manager.

The Consumer Operations Order and Fulfillment team is responsible for managing and optimizing Microsoft’s physical and digital supply chains for Device and Retail Partners. The team’s primary role is to manage the supply of Microsoft IP to partners who in turn either manufacture devices with Microsoft Software and Services or sell directly to end-users.

We are looking for a technical solutions manager to continue to lead and drive the digital transformation of the Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • Fluency to read, write and speak in English language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND internship to 2+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in a multi-national shared service or similar environment with relevant experience within a supply chain or device/component/manufacturing entity
  • Strong technical fundamentals around IT systems and transactional processes and ability to quickly grasp new technologies, systems, and digital tools
  • Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and building creative solutions
  • Successful record of dealing with complex organization through influence and collaboration
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking resulting in forward-looking solutions to business opportunities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Continuous Improvement certification, Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci Certification)

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Order and Fulfillment Leadership Team to evolve and refine our ongoing digital capabilities
  • Conducting cross functional assessments to build solutions that meet both Microsoft and Partners’ needs
  • Applying data-driven methodologies to efficiently manage initiatives, drive prioritization while ensuring optimization throughout the process
  • Executing on in-flight transformation projects as the Order and Fulfillment subject matter expert and the E2E solution architect
  • Ownership and responsibility for managing a key process area within the supply chain and conducting end to end operations
  • Working with broader Order and Fulfillment team to analyze the supply chain eco-system, understand the impact of the digital transformation on the supply chain & manufacturing
  • Driving process optimization to reduce cost, complexity or improve our Partner’s experience
  • Project managing various projects of varying size and scope to successful completion
