The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
The Cloud Solution Architect role involves gathering customer insights, mapping architecture, and proposing digital transformation solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The role is within the CSA Global Delivery team. It is a centralized group consisting of both full-time employees (FTEs) and Partner CSAs dedicated to enhancing the customer's experience with Microsoft as they transition to hybrid/public cloud solutions. We achieve this by offering our customers value through adaptable and efficient delivery methods, all underpinned by standardized processes.
This role is ideal for a technology leader with deep expertise in SharePoint (On-Premises and Online), Microsoft Viva, and Microsoft Teams, with a strong track record of delivering successful modernisation and migration projects for enterprise customers or partners.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in Data and Analytics Technologies on Premises and on Azure cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
o OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience with SharePoint migrations and modernisations, and tools.
• Strong sharepoint development background in SPFx, Power Platform, Graph API, and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Viva and Teams extensibility (bots, tabs, messaging extensions).
• Demonstrated success in customer or partner-facing projects, with strong storytelling and solution-selling capabilities.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, security, compliance, and governance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
• Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions using SharePoint (On-Prem and Online), including content migration, modernisation, and custom development.
• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Viva modules (Connections, Insights, Topics, Learning) to enhance employee experience.
• Drive Microsoft Teams adoption and integration strategies, including governance, lifecycle management, and app extensibility.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across the solution lifecycle—from envisioning and planning to deployment and optimization.
• Develop and maintain solution architectures, technical documentation, and reusable assets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding them through digital transformation journeys.
• Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap and AI innovations to proactively shape solution strategies.
