Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in object oriented languages and database querying languages with strong coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with C++, C#, and utilizing AI in your day-to-day.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Great communication skills to collaborate cross-group and work effectively within the team
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize issues.
- Python, YAML Build\Deployment pipelines, workflow, JavaScript, Service Workers, PWAs, React, and SQLite are all major pluses.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Drive improvements to the team’s build performance and developer inner loop, reducing iteration time and increasing engineering velocity.
- Design and implement systems to automatically deploy AI-generated code changes, including updates to unit tests (UTs) and build verification tests (BVTs), ensuring rapid and safe validation of AI-assisted development.
- Lead the migration of engineering tools and workflows to a modern, AI-first ecosystem—leveraging automation, intelligent code generation, and scalable infrastructure to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate across disciplines to identify bottlenecks, define success metrics, and deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity.
- Champion engineering excellence by promoting best practices in AI-assisted development.
