The Europe South Data Security CSA plays a pivotal role in guiding customers throughout their security journey. As a trusted advisor, you will help customers strengthen their security posture and capabilities, lead the security strategy across the broader community, and drive key Data Security initiatives in collaboration with local CSU teams and other business units.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND Significant years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND Significant years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND Significant years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- Proven years of experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- Proven years of experience leading technical projects.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
- Threat protection, SIEM and Incident Response; Extended Detection and Response (XDR); Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR); Security Operation Center Management; Identity and Access Management; Cloud Infrastructure; Cloud Security; Data Security; Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Microsoft Security Operations, Cloud Security, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC.
Responsibilities
Customer centricity
- You will develop and expand existing impactful relationships with key security decision makers in Europe South. As a trusted advisor, you will identify and anticipate customers priorities and challenges, uncover opportunities, and guide them to define and execute their security strategy.
- You will support customers as they tackle their most strategic and complex data security challenges, fostering strong advocacy and building a portfolio of impactful success stories.
Business Impact
- You will lead and drive adoption of Microsoft Data Security products, and empower customers to maximize the value of their Microsoft investments.
- You will work across teams to design and implement impactful Data Security programmatic initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- You will stay updated on the latest industry trends and shifts, and you will be the Voice of the Customer, conveying their feedback to Engineering and Product teams, removing blockers, and influencing the security roadmap.
- You will be a technical thought leader by identifying capability gaps, building and strengthening both internal and external security communities, developing resources, and leading enablement sessions that empower others at scale.
