Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Have practical knowledge of PMICs (power management IC), switch mode power supplies, low drop-out linear regulators, load-switches, chargers, battery.
  • "Hands-on" power measurement, validation, analysis debug experience.
  • Basic understanding of OS fundamentals, SOC, firmware, and Device Drivers.
  • Good at problem solving and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and/or interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in PC/Notebook/Server/ SOC power system design and validation.
  • Experience of working with PC manufacturers.
  • Experience in power delivery network design and simulation.

Responsibilities

  • Schematic/layout review and provide suggestions accordingly.
  • Develop power test plans for the characterization of the power delivery network.
  • Characterize, analysis and debug the power delivery network in a complex system, across various platform components such as SOC, displays, sensors, memory, storage, graphics, multimedia, etc.
  • Analyze data and trends to determine how power related issues can affect the customers’ product experience.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction while troubleshooting complex system level power/performance issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly and proactively to power related problems.
  • Cooperate with global partners.
