Overview

We are on the forefront of a shift to the next generation of cloud with customers in different stages of maturity. Our candidate will possess a passion and deep understanding of the “Hyperscaler” cloud businesses and key trends. This role is a lead for the Cloud and AI platform solution plays marketing. This includes how to prioritize product strategies into customer outcomes and aligning them for optimized results through a mix of strategies. The candidate for this role will have a passion for technology, with a deep understanding of the sales and marketing levers and have a vision for how we gain share. The candidate will have the ability to analyze and diagnose business challenges, formulate solutions, and then motivate and influence the broader organization into action.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in Product Marketing, Business Planning OR developing tailored proposals and pricing strategies for customers.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Define and iterate on complete offers aligned with solution play priorities for Enterprise & Small and Medium Enterprise Customers working closely with business planning, Azure Accelerate leads, pricing leads and Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPs).
  • Partner with MCAPs to create field and partner readiness materials and assets, landing, activation and feedback.
  • Understand competitor landscape of offers and our relative ability to help customers achieve their outcomes, use these insights to make recommendations.
  • Anticipate customer needs and offer implications based on market insights and evolving business priorities Collaborate with pricing leads and business plan to integrate new pricing offers into the overall offer strategy and activation
