As a Technical Program Manager deeply embedded with the CVP and the team leading Azure AI infrastructure, you will guide and coach teams working with both Software and Hardware Engineering to design innovative technical solutions. You will ensure all strategic projects are tracking, key priorities are clear, and all stakeholders are aligned. In this influential leadership role, you’ll identify risks and propose data-driven mitigations, foster alignment in product management and release, and help teams deliver feature roadmaps while leading governance programs.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 3+ years of experience as a chief of staff or similar leadership role for a mid-size team highly preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,
- OR product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ years proven experience in technical program management, ideally within AI or cloud infrastructure environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous, fast-moving settings, and to influence stakeholders at senior levels.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching teams, validating use cases, and collecting and analyzing performance metrics.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CVP and Azure AI infrastructure leadership to oversee the design, execution, and delivery of strategic AI projects.
- Guide and coach teams working with Software and Hardware Engineering to create robust technical solutions.
- Identify risks, propose data-based mitigations, and drive teams to define success criteria.
- Ensure cross-team alignment in product management and release processes, tracking roadmaps and project schedules.
- Develop staging and implementation plans, and help lead governance programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee and mentor teams toward continuous improvement, teaching them to validate use cases and gather performance metrics through cross-departmental partnership.
- Influence and bring diverse stakeholders to the table, acting as a chief of staff for the AI infrastructure team and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
