Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to join the Agentic OS team in Windows focused on building intelligent, secure, and scalable platform for this next evolution of the OS. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Windows internals, operating systems architecture, and security engineering, and who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years development experience, especially in Windows internals, kernel-mode, and/or low-level Operating Systems.
- Experience designing, building, and optimizing Large-Scale Distributed Systems.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-team projects, drive architectural decisions, and advocate for best practices across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years developing OS software (Windows, Linux, macOS, or similar) with a focus on security, including threat modeling and secure coding.
- Proven track record integrating AI/ML models into production systems, including agentic architectures, LLMs, and adaptive workflows.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Architect and develop core components of the Agentic OS platform, enabling secure and intelligent agentic interactions across Windows environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML scientists, OS engineers, and security architects to design and implement robust solutions.
- Drive innovation in agentic and user interaction flows.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Windows shell and services, including low-level components such as kernel drivers and early boot stack.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security standards and contribute to threat modeling and mitigation strategies.
