The Finance Data and Experiences organization (FD&E) builds scaled solutions that enable Microsoft to run its end-to-end business more effectively and efficiently. FD&E operates within the business and has proficient delivery partnerships across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will have an opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies to build industry-leading business management solutions for your customers. In this Senior Technical Program Manager role, you will work with Azure, Synapse, Fabric, Azure AI and other cloud-native platforms to help architect and develop a suite of future-state analytics capabilities.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud services with use of AI technologies
- Experience with data analytics and related technologies, including Kusto (Azure Data Explorer), SQL, ETL technologies, machine learning (ML), Azure AI and PowerBI or other similar technologies
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations
- Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain
- Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proven collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written)
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager on our team, you will have a direct and clear impact on our products and customers. In this role, you will work closely with talented engineering teams, collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across Finance, Operations & Engineering, and have the opportunity to design, deliver, and iterate on new data products, tools & applications. Our work has high visibility with the finance leadership team and ample opportunities to share our successes. The scope of responsibilities includes:
- Creating data products/feature specifications with visual and written designs
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, use AI in solutions and encourage AI adoption across stakeholders.
- Partnering with our engineering teams in all phases of development as a thought leader on feature design and user experience that focuses on privacy compliance and excellence.
- Providing hands-on program management during various phases of our projects including day-to-day contributions as part of agile development practices.
- Measuring the success of the product through relevant metrics and KPIs
- Developing product roadmaps and strategy
- Listening to customers (internal and external) to understand their scenarios and challenges
- Engaging with partner teams across engineering and product to drive alignment on dependencies
