Overview

As an Account Technology Strategist (ATS), you will play a pivotal role in driving secure transformative technology initiatives that align with your customers' business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, persona needs, and the ability to leverage technology to achieve strategic outcomes. You will collaborate closely with an Enterprise Account Executive and lead the orchestration of a multi-functional team across Microsoft's product portfolio and partner offerings. Your mission is to build and nurture relationships with technology executives within your customers' business and deliver functional and industry-relevant solutions that embrace AI, security and other cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business or related field AND 5+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience

OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive business outcomes.
  • 4+ years’ experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Development: Cultivate, co-own and manage relationships with CTOs, CDOs, CIOs, CISOs, and Innovation/digital transformation leaders within customer organizations. Utilize these relationships to drive strategic engagements that positively impact the customer's business.
  • Enterprise Business Architecture: Analyze customers' business challenges at a strategic level to develop business/enterprise architecture and solution roadmaps, including articulating the business value they drive, that align with their specific processes and priorities. Maintain a strategic 3 Horizon technology to business roadmap for the customer.
  • Technology Leadership: Serve as the Technology Sales Leader in Solution Plays and Industry Cloud, connecting industry and business priorities. Orchestrate and align resources from v-teams, and partners through various stages to achieve the desired industry architecture strategy and solutions grounded in business value.
  • AI and Thought Leadership: Trusted advisor and thought leader to help customers navigate the AI landscape. Deeply understand customer business priorities and align Microsoft’s AI capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes that create customer value. Bridge between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring AI solutions are not just innovative but also secure and compliant.
  • Security Leadership: Drive thought leadership ensuring security is foundational to every customer conversation. Identify opportunities to improve the customer security posture across the organisation, by understanding the customer’s business and technology landscape and aligning Microsoft’s security capabilities to their needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Play a crucial role in understanding customer maturity and aligning products with customer journeys. Develop and own the business-to-IT technology roadmaps and strategic account plan
