Overview

The Digital Solution Specialist (DSS) for AI Business Process (AIBP) is a strategic sales role focused on driving AI-led transformation across business applications. This role bridges Microsoft’s business applications with AI innovations, enabling consultative engagements with decision-makers across Sales, Service, ERP, and Low Code domains.

AI Agents are viewed as autonomous enablers of business process automation. They are not just tools but strategic differentiators that reshape workflows and customer engagement.

In this role the attitude toward adoption is empathetic and educational, guiding customers through change, addressing privacy concerns, and building trust.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, Information Security, or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, Information Security, or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in technology-related sales or account management OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
  • Coverage of three countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark. Iceland).

  • Fluent in English, Nordics language advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Account Planning & Strategy
  • Lead account planning for AIBP opportunities.
  • Identify decision-makers and select appropriate solution plays.
  • Build and maintain qualified pipeline coverage for rolling four quarters.
  • Executive Engagement
  • Establish and nurture C-Suite and BDM relationships.
  • Deliver compelling solution pitches aligned with the One Microsoft narrative.
  • Sales Execution
  • Drive consultative selling motions.
  • Translate complex scenarios into clear business outcomes.
  • Remove blockers and exceed revenue targets.
  • Partner Co-Sell
  • Collaborate with partners to scale execution.
  • Ensure partner deployment plans are in place for usage milestones.
  • Technical & Business Expertise
  • Act as a trusted advisor with deep domain knowledge.
  • Share best practices and expand technical depth.
  • Enablement Priorities:
  • Build comprehension of Copilot and Agents.
  • Streamline customer journeys.
  • Address privacy and security concerns with clarity.
  • Support habit-building and daily usage.
