Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or technical program management.
  • 4+ years of experience proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data architectures, alongside expertise in incident response, remediation, and root cause analysis.
  • 4+ years of experience demonstrated expertise in implementing data protection frameworks and privacy regulations, building scalable security automation solutions, and collaborating effectively across engineering, product, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or similar (preferred) Preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, data engineering, or related domains

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Secure Development: Drive secure coding practices and design reviews across Marketing services, infrastructure, and data. Partner with Service Owners and CISO teams to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Consult and Solution: Act as a trusted consultant, helping teams architect security capabilities andbuild forscale. Develop reusable patterns and centralized solutions that simplify compliance and unlock agility across diverse Marketing applications.
  • Incident Response: Own the response toidentifiedvulnerabilities, security incidents, risks, and escalations. Drive remediation, root cause analysis, and long-term strategies to prevent recurrence, ensuring Marketing’s data and services remain resilient.
  • Advance Data Protection: Collaborate with data engineering, product, and Marketing service owners to implement organization-wide tooling and policy frameworks that protect sensitive data. Lead the deployment of data protection solutions that safeguard customer, employee, and business information.
  • Build Security Automation: Develop automation, tooling, and solutions that enable secure by design and secure by default at scale. Empower Marketing teams to move quickly and confidently, knowing that security is seamlessly integrated into every workflow.
  • Foster EngineeringExcellence: Coding standards, and robust code management for security solutions. Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver end-to-end secure platform capabilities.
