Are you passionate about scaling AI solutions and driving repeatable success across the enterprise? As the Business Architect, AI Applications and Agents – Scale programs and Repeatability, you will provide strategic leadership and execution for Microsoft’s key AI adoption initiatives. In this role, you will define the vision and direction for these programs, orchestrating cross-functional teams at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and marketing to accelerate AI adoption, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer loyalty among our top accounts. You will be responsible for end-to-end program success: from shaping program strategy and assets, to enabling internal teams for execution, to engaging directly with customers and partners for feedback and co-innovation. This is a unique opportunity to empower global field teams and partners with repeatable IP (intellectual property) and frameworks while working closely with customers to co-design the evolution of our AI programs, ensuring Microsoft’s most advanced technologies deliver meaningful business outcomes at scale.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales AND in go-to-market (GTM) roles. Proven track record of value selling or challenger sales in enterprise technology environments, with exposure to AI-driven solutions, modern application platforms, databases, or business intelligence tools.
- Proficient in AI and cloud services: including AI Agents, Generative AI models, AI services, machine learning concepts and modern app development frameworks. You understand how technologies like LLMs, AI orchestration, and cloud platforms play in enterprise scenarios.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales, particularly for complex AI/cloud support offerings, and proven ability to differentiate in competitive scenarios.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in designing and executing complex cross-organization programs the tech industry, especially related to cloud or AI products.
- Enterprise AI/Cloud domain knowledge on the customer value journey and leversfor AI and Applications. Understanding of how major cloud providers (Google, AWS) and AI companies (OpenAI, Anthropic) go to market.
Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Leadership: Define the strategy for scalable AI programs, aligning program goals with broader product and go-to-market objectives. Ensure each program has a clear roadmap that drives repeatable customer success and high-impact results.
- Program Execution & Governance: Oversee end-to-end execution of these initiatives with disciplined program management. Establish clear milestones, deliverables, and governance mechanisms to track progress. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of program outcomes across regions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate broadly across engineering, product, marketing, and field sales teams to drive alignment and buy-in for program initiatives. Facilitate regular program reviews and communications with senior leadership, ensuring stakeholder consensus and support for key decisions and resource needs.
- Internal Enablement & Evangelism: Develop training, documentation, and toolkits to enable internal teams (field sellers, Global Black Belts, customer success, etc.) and partners to execute the programs effectively. Act as the subject-matter expert and evangelist for these programs, equipping teams with the knowledge and reusable assets (playbooks, solution templates, demos) needed to scale out offerings and land value with customers.
- Customer & Partner Engagement: Engage directly with customers and strategic partners as a trusted advisor to validate program approach and gather feedback. Facilitate co-design workshops and pilot engagements to ensure program offerings (e.g. frameworks, accelerators) resonate with real-world needs. Leverage these insights to continuously refine and evolve the programs, co-creating improvements that increase relevance and impact.
- IP Curation & Repeatability: Drive the creation and curation of core intellectual property (IP) assets that underpin the programs – for example, solution architectures, best-practice guides, reference implementations, and AI use-case frameworks. Package successful patterns from customer engagements into repeatable IP that can be scaled across industries and geographies, accelerating adoption and reducing time-to-value for new engagements.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends and enterprise adoption challenges. Continuously measure program performance and feedback metrics; experiment with new ideas or adjustments to improve effectiveness. Iterate on program design, content, and execution model to achieve greater scale, efficiency, and customer success outcomes over time.
- Outcomes & Impact Communication: Define clear success metrics (e.g. adoption rates, consumption growth, customer satisfaction) for each program and rigorously track them. Analyze and communicate program impact to executives and stakeholders on a regular basis, using data-driven insights to highlight wins, inform course corrections, and demonstrate the overall business value of the programs.
