At RBC Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Group, we have an exciting opportunity for an energetic strategic, creative self-starter to help drive awareness, engagement, and action.

As a member of our Strategic Communications team, you’ll get to work with a group of passionate, collaborative and inclusive professionals who are responsible for protecting and enabling RBC – all while engaging, informing and inspiring employees.

You will work closely with global stakeholders to tell the CAE Group story through various channels including blogs, employee communications, and social media. You will support transformational strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience.

What will you do?

  • Build awareness. You will design and execute internal communications campaigns to increase awareness and excitement of our business strategies, performance, and brand positioning.
  • Be a creative voice. You will develop high-quality written content as needed, including internal social media platforms, email, videos, intranet posts and event updates.
  • Ignite and inspire. You will strengthen CAE Group’s brand and culture by providing support in planning and executing employee engagement events.
  • Drive engagement. Drive employee engagement through initiatives to support diversity, inclusion and belonging.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Communications, PR, Media, Journalism or Business educational background preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with project management capabilities
  • Motivation and a strong desire to learn
  • Knowledge of and interest in both traditional and social media
  • Creativity and curiosity

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous Corporate Communications/Public Relations experience
  • Visual design skills
  • Video editing
  • Demonstrated record of academic success with diverse range of extracurricular activities

Please note:

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
