The Associate Director, Information Management Risk Reporting ensures sound risk reporting practices and tooling governance to enable oversight and monitoring of information management risk metrics, the development of the information management risk profile and reporting to support Enterprise Information Management Risk business activities as well as for various boards and committees.

What Is Your Opportunity?

You will ensure sound risk reporting practices and tooling governance to enable oversight and monitoring of information management risk metrics, the development of the information management risk profile and reporting to support Enterprise Information Management Risk business activities as well as for various boards and committees.

What Will You Do?

Risk Appetite and Risk Metrics

  • Ensure on-going monitoring, analysis and reporting of risk appetite metrics and measures in compliance with risk appetite tolerances for Information Management risk (IM Risk).

  • Oversee development and execution of IM risk metric processes, including quality assurance practices and process documentation.

  • Oversee the creation, review, and communication of IM risk metric reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with reporting requirements.

  • Define, oversee, and maintain IM risk management risk rating/scoring, concepts, methodologies, requirements and terminology.

  • Perform review and challenge of completeness and coverage of Business (1st line of defense) risk metrics, KRIs, and thresholds.

  • Manage and facilitate scenario analysis and proforma reporting on new/proposed risk metrics.

  • Manage the update of all risk metrics processes in line with annual refresh cycles.

Risk Reporting

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of quarterly enterprise risk reporting requirements and templates (e.g. dashboards, Board, Committee Reports).

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of Center of Governance (CoG) risk reporting and metrics governance, maintenance requirements and supporting processes.

  • Conduct analysis and provide insights as required.

Risk Tooling Governance

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of IM Risk tools and technologies including inventories and documentation libraries.

  • Facilitate tool change management by providing/documenting business and functional requirements from business owners and coordinating with tool developers (e.g. ORSS or internal team or other as required).

  • Help facilitate tool evaluation and selection and implementation.

  • Coordinate quality testing and user acceptance testing.

What Do You Need To Succeed?

Must Have

  • Advanced knowledge of data governance and data management practices, risk reporting and risk appetite methodologies.

  • Familiarity with banking data including front-to-back data flows and processing, usage and reporting.

  • Good understanding of project management concepts (e.g. project plans, project risks, issues, dependencies, project governance).

  • Good interviewing, facilitation, collaboration, and relationship management skills.

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Business or related field
