What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be accountable for the strategy, management and delivery of the RBC Small Business Cards product portfolio. You will synthesize and execute strategies across multiple partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for keeping up to speed on the Business landscape in Canada, and ensuring RBC continues to evolve and capitalize on emerging opportunities. You will contribute to the overall financial goals of the business and lead on the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives.
What will you do?
Responsible for strategy development and execution and product ownership for overall Small Business Credit cards product portfolio. The incumbent will need to recognize trends, determine strategy effectiveness, and provide recommendations for further enhancements.
Responsible for development of executive level presentations and business cases to support strategic recommendations
Support Leadership team in developing and implementing comprehensive business strategies to facilitate growth, focusing on long-term goals and profitability for overall Small Business credit cards product portfolio, including collaboration with partners to support execution
Identify performance trends and recommend initiatives to increase product competitiveness in the Business Credit Cards space
Build strong relationships across various Cards groups, Loyalty, Operations, Technology, Marketing, and other groups to drive cross-enterprise alignment
Provide leadership oversight on various Business Review processes, including data analysis and collaboration with key partners for reporting and business updates
Develop and maintain expertise and understanding of the competitive landscape to drive innovative thinking and differentiation

Must have:
An innovative thinker who is proactive, is well organized with attention to detail, and thrives in a fast paced environment
Exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for solving ambiguous and complex business issues through a structured approach
The ability to dive very deep, from both a quantitative and qualitative standpoint, and translate findings into clear, insightful messages and recommendations for senior executive audiences
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including advanced experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for C-level executives and leaders
Strong excel and analytic skills for reporting
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing priorities driven by fast moving competitive landscape
A proven collaborator, with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and lead cross-functional teams
Undergraduate degree required, with 3-5 years experience in business banking and product management
Nice to have:
Demonstrated experience within the credit card industry (e.g., knowledge of Credit card financial and analytical skills)
Awareness of retail or business banking landscape in Canada and/or previous experience with external partners
Technology/solutions acumen, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation
