What is the opportunity?

The Associate Director, Global Markets Financial Advisory will support key decision making and help drive value for the Global Markets business, with a focus on Global Sales & Relationship Management (GSRM), client value, and Trade Expense reporting. This role will also contribute to the continued success of these areas through the management of all associated financial reporting and forecasting needs, and through supporting the financial integration of the GSRM platform across Global Markets.

What you will do?

  • Support senior business leaders with financial insights including reviewing financial results, analyzing new initiatives or businesses, and assessing financial impacts of regional business strategies
  • Stakeholder with and act as a key partner to the GSRM business heads and Business Management team, providing regular financial reporting, business insights, ad hoc analyses, and assist with financial communications (town halls, OC meetings, etc.)
  • Assist with current period financial result analysis and finalization as well as forecasting (current year and five-year outlook) preparation and presentation
  • Responsible for cross platform, regional reporting, planning, and analysis, partnering with other Finance teams to develop an integrated global business view
  • Amongst other financial metrics supporting the GSRM business, particular focus on headcount/expense tracking, client value reporting, associated trade execution expense reporting, etc.

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of recent, relevant experience
  • Financial statements (IS, BS) orientation and comprehension
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Senior management engagement and communication
  • Revenue/expense recognition, balance sheet impact, financial returns analysis, and consideration around the reporting of such topics
  • Strong computer skills in organizing/analyzing data (advanced MS Excel preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Degree in business, finance, or another related field
