What is the opportunity?

The Manager, T&O Finance, Performance Management provides insights through financial analysis to support decision-making within the finance framework and to deliver high quality financial reporting using efficient and effective processes while maintaining an effective control environment. They are also responsible for timely delivery of related financial reporting packages while streamlining processes to create efficiencies and support monthly and quarterly reporting, financial planning and analytics.

This position supports the Performance Management team to provide Senior Management with effective performance analytics and reporting of Actual/Forecast/Plan results enable early identification of issues, opportunities and appropriate alternative action to support efficient and timely decision making

What you will do?

  • Preparation of comprehensive, in-depth and timely analytical support and reporting including internal charges within T&O
  • Collaborate with finance teams across the Enterprise to ensure timely and accurate flow of information
  • Preparation and consolidation of monthly and quarterly T&O Management Reports (MMR), including key financial highlights (Non-Interest Expense {NIE}, Headcount, P&L) and key operating metrics highlighting main risks and opportunities
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly CIO Navigator reports to Segments (Capital Markets, Insurance, CFO Group, Group Risk Mgmt) including key financial highlights, and analysis
  • Preparation of insightful analysis for management decision-making
  • Support the end-to-end Performance Management close processes, ensuring results are correct and reported accurately in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Performance Management teams for reporting results (QAR, NIAT estimates, etc)
  • Involved in other reporting and various projects (QBR, CEO decks etc) as required and prepare ad-hoc analysis for financial results as requested
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements
  • Preparation of comprehensive, in-depth and timely analytical support and reporting including internal charges within T&O
  • Collaborate with finance teams across the Enterprise to ensure timely and accurate flow of information

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 4+ years experience in relevant finance/accounting capacity
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and collaboration capability
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and finance systems.
  • Initiative and proactive thinker, with process improvement and change management mindset
  • Candidate must be an independent worker, proactive, creative and innovative self-starter; as well as team player who demonstrates team-oriented spirit
  • Champion and support creative solutions that focus on continuous improvement
  • Cope with tight timelines and occasionally long hours required
  • Working experience and knowledge of EPM Cognos / TM1 finance systems
