What is the Opportunity?

What will you do?

• Support team’s Investment Management Operations, executing trades and rebalancing portfolios.
• Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
• Execute updates to portfolio models, based on instructions from Portfolio Manager
• Generate Investment Policy Statements
• Review IPS and accurately input high volumes of trades for a large PIM portfolio, making sure that each trade adheres to asset allocation rules and any special trading instructions/IPS rules
• Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team
• Participate in regular investment management team meetings and communication
• Support the administrative functions of the advisory team
• Support your advisory team with new client acquisition
• May be required to provide primary relationship support for a select group of trading clients

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
• Successful completion of the Investment Management Techniques (IMT) Course/ CIM or CFA
• University degree
• A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
• Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-have

• Previous RBC Dominion Securities experience
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly developed client service skills
