Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Home Equity Financing (HEF) Digital Transformation team is dedicated to creating a seamless, personalized, end-to-end mortgage experience by leveraging AI and enabling clients to engage with RBC through their preferred channels.

We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Strategy and Performance Insights Senior Manager to spearhead the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives within the HEF Digitization portfolio. This role is critical in aligning business objectives with long-term goals while delivering measurable value through robust business casing, benefits realization, and accurate forecasting. Additionally, the Senior Manager will support the HEF Digitization leadership team by providing strategic analysis and guiding critical trade-off decisions related to the target state design and execution plan.

What will you do?

Strategy and Performance Management

  • Design and maintain a comprehensive reporting framework to track KPIs, OKRs, dashboards, and other performance indicators to measure progress and success

  • Define and refine long-term goals, align them with business objectives and translate them into actionable plans

Business Case Development

  • Develop and present business cases, including conducting financial analysis, evaluating strategic opportunities and delivering data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision making within the HEF Digitization portfolio.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct in-depth analysis (using descriptive, diagnostic and predictive methods) of business performance, identifying key drivers of results and areas of improvement.

  • Leverage data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions

Storytelling & Communication

  • Create and deliver, concise, and visually compelling reports and presentations for senior leadership and other stakeholders

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with HEF Analytics, homeX Data Squad, Operations Strategy & Analytics and HEF Digitization delivery teams.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Business Case Development: Strong skills in creating detailed business cases, including ROI analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and risk evaluations.

  • Financial Modeling: Proficiency in building financial models to support investment decisions and resource allocation.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights and inform decision-making.

  • Forecasting and Predictive Modeling: Expertise in leveraging advanced analytics to forecast trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities.

  • Executive Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills to convey complex strategies and insights to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Program Oversight: Experience in managing large-scale, multi-faceted transformation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including technology, operations, and business units, to align efforts and drive outcomes.

Nice to have:

  • Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Python, SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms for performance reporting.

  • AI and Technology Integration: Understanding of how AI and digital tools can be leveraged to enhance client experiences and streamline processes.

  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile principles to support iterative development and rapid delivery
