What will you do?
- Develop and maintain end-to-end talent data and analytics solutions maximizing data pipelines and architectures to provide actionable talent metrics and insights (datasets, visualizations, dashboards) to serve business, HR and team needs
- Support the identification, design, and implementation of internal process improvements: automating manual processes, orchestrating and optimizing data delivery across various cloud-based and on-premises data platforms, etc.
- Support Data Scientists and ML Engineers in different phases of the ML lifecycle.
- Facilitate the automation of business intelligence reports and dashboards, by creating and leveraging reporting and scheduling capabilities
- Support team members with design and development of ad hoc analytics and reporting as needed
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases (including Teradata, SQL Server, MySQL or similar)
- Hands-on experience with building Machine Learning models and conducting statistical analyses
- Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as Python
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong management, organizational, critical thinking, analytical, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with large, complex datasets from internal and external sources
- Ability to problem solve and design analytical approaches to respond to business needs
- Inquisitive thinker with strong business acumen, and the ability to apply data knowledge & data discovery skills into building effective reports and dashboards
- High proficiency with statistical and data mining tools to mine and analyze large amounts of data from diverse sources
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Nice-to-have
- Background knowledge in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Physics or related quantitative field.
- Background knowledge in a Data Engineering or equivalent field of study
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Lake and cloud computing-based data platforms like Snowflake
Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026, and end date of April 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
