Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager is responsible for leading our Salesforce platform for Advisors, Associates and other Business Groups in terms of org configuration, analytics, reporting, working with design and support for RBC Wealth Management Canada. Salesforce is a critical application for RBC Wealth Management Canada, the purpose of this role will to help drive the roadmap of Salesforce so that our advisors can continue to efficiently manage their Client relationships.

What will you do?

  • Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.

  • Help lead application design sessions while consulting with all company stake-holders on new requirements and optimization of existing capabilities on the Salesforce platform

  • Support 2 squads from a high-level solutioning perspective to make sure we are leveraging OOTB Salesforce functionality

  • Oversee a small team of config resources assigned to delivery within the squads

  • Develop POCs as needed to review features of Salesforce

  • Partial allocation to hands-on delivery, obtaining alignment on solution design from our SF Technical Architects and configuring the Salesforce platform

  • Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goals

  • Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • 5+ years Salesforce Admin experience (org size over 2000 users)

  • Minimum Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Certified Advanced Admin, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

  • Strong knowledge of Financial Services Cloud

  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Automation leveraging Flows (record-triggered and UI)

  • Experience deploying changes in Salesforce, leveraging tools such as Flosum, Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with different Business groups to understand their current processes and recommend designs using the Salesforce platform to help improve efficiencies
