Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This is the opportunity to join a fast-moving IT team that supports the IT operations of a software system (Charles River Investment Management System, will train on this system), which is used by investment managers for order management, trading, compliance, reporting and settlement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Rotational morning shift once/twice a week, 7am-3pm Mon-Friday (remaining days are 9am-5pm), rotational on-call duty and rotational holiday duty
  • Diagnosing user reported software UI issues (front end displays, data issue, etc)
  • Investigate and resolve data issue by looking at automated batch job logic
  • Provide ad-hoc report using advanced SQL
  • Perform Database refresh in lower environments
  • User privilege management
  • Provide effective and timely communication of application status to stakeholders

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Operating System Admin, CMD commands
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and documentation skills

Nice-to-have:

  • Excel proficiency
  • Trading life cycle knowledge
  • Experience with cloud Technology (OpenShift, Azure)
  • ITIL foundation training
