Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of programmers/technical analysts in their roles of developing, managing, programming, testing, and implementation of various business managed applications and end user developed application in support of AML functions.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating project activities for various business managed applications enhancement and maintenance within AML and Financial Crimes.
- Define end to end technical solutions and analyze the viability of the solution to meet project timeline, budget, and quality.
- Assess and analyze business requirements, current state environment and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business sponsor needs for business managed applications.
- Design, implement and maintain the Machine Learning / Model Development pipeline and infrastructure to support internal financial crime model development and rollout.
- Manage, develop and execute action plans to resolve outstanding IAS audit issues. Coordinate and consolidate information required for IAS during audit related to Business Managed Applications and End User Developed Applications.
- Lead and manage the overall master test plan reviews, design UAT (User Acceptance Test) test cases, and PIV (Post Implementation Verification) testing for business managed applications.
- Accountable for ensuring the business needs and outcomes for project delivery are achieved as per the business case.
- Identify technical issues and risks and define mitigation approach. Function as in-house technical consultant / expert for resolution of complex technical issues.
- Work with AML & Financial Crimes business stakeholders, T&O analysts and project managers on detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and / or resolving business managed application and system issues.
- Provide technical leadership on to the project throughout the development life cycle, including architecture design and best practice.
- Develop and present solution alternatives along with recommendations to stakeholders.
- Define and ensure quality of the project technical deliverables.
- Determine quality standards and oversee the execution / production of business managed application deliverables and management documents.
- Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices.
- Assess ambiguous situations and provide clarity to team and stakeholders as required.
