Next Best Action (NBA) is a specialized group within RBC Personal Banking that combines, data, marketing, advanced analytics & AI to bring hyper personalization to all RBC clients across all client touchpoints. We’re looking for a Director, Measurement & Analytics to join the NBA group and lead enterprise experimentation and reporting efforts. In this role, you will oversee a team of high-performing analysts and partner across business, data, and enablement teams to design, execute, and evaluate experiments that optimize campaign performance and inform client engagement strategies. You’ll drive a culture of experimentation that accelerates learning, sharpens decision-making, and advances RBC’s leadership in personalized marketing and financial advice.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, execution, and evaluation of enterprise-level marketing experiments and reports across channels, lines of businesses, and client segments.
  • Build and evolve RBC’s experimentation framework to accelerate test-and-learn velocity, ensure statistical rigour, and scale best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of marketing analysts
  • Translate complex test results into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy and campaign performance
  • Partner across Lines of Business, Data & Analytics, Technology, Digital, and Marketing to embed experimentation into the end-to-end campaign lifecycle
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture across the Personal Banking organization
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform client engagement, personalization, and marketing strategies

What You Need to Succeed?

Must Have

  • An academic background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, as well as an MBA or graduate-level education
  • Familiarity with advanced testing methodologies (e.g., uplift modelling, Bayesian methods, contextual bandits)
  • Proven leadership experience in marketing analytics, experimentation, or measurement roles, ideally within a large, data-driven organization
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise OKRs and performance
  • Strong expertise in designing and evaluating marketing experiments and interpreting results to drive business impact
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners across data, marketing, product, and digital
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex insights for senior audiences
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams and cultivating a learning-oriented culture

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise personalization, targeting, or decision-making platform
  • Experience in financial services, digital marketing, or large-scale client engagement programs
