Dr.Bill is a growing healthcare technology company that provides fast, accurate, and reliable medical billing software and services for Ontario physicians. Our billing platform maximizes revenue for physicians while saving them time.

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will work with our Ontario Billing Operations Team to provide exceptional service to our customers and grow the Dr.Bill brand of excellence. At work, this position will manage medical billing claims including refusals and rejections, communicate with physicians to problem solve any inquiries, proactively use billing skills and knowledge to provide a positive experience working both individually and as a team. This position is full-time, permanent, with a remote working environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Process medical claims

• Resolve issues effectively

• Provide assistance in billing

• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner

• Coach physicians on OHIP Billing

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must-haves:

• Proven OHIP Billing work experience (2+ years)
• 4+ years of administrative and customer service experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Great attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
• A strong understanding of general computer knowledge
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Outstanding personal skills and be able to work well in a team

Nice-haves:

• Completion of certified courses - Medical Billing or equivalent
• Remote work experience
