What is the opportunity?

The BCST Global Payments team seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a dual-capacity role combining CLS Manager development expertise with advanced SWIFT messaging knowledge.

• Design, develop, and maintain CLS Manager applications and integrations that support our clearing and settlement infrastructure.

• This includes building robust solutions for bilateral and multilateral netting, managing liquidity positions, and ensuring seamless connectivity with the Continuous Linked Settlement system.

• Troubleshoot complex settlement scenarios, optimize performance, and implement enhancements that reduce settlement risk and operational friction.

• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.

• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.

• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

• Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

Must-have:

• Understanding of foreign exchange and payments processing.

• Experience working with SWIFT protocol.

• Hands on development utilizing Java and SQL.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to AI tooling

• Hands-on people management

• Experience working with CLS
