What is the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Manager, NBA Measurement and Analytics to join the NBA group and contribute to the enterprise experimentation efforts. In this role, you will design, execute, and evaluate experiments that optimize campaign performance and inform client engagement strategies. You’ll help drive a culture of experimentation that accelerates learning, sharpens decision-making, and advances RBC’s leadership in personalized marketing and financial advice.

What will you do?

  • Design, execute, and evaluate enterprise-level marketing experiments across channels and client segments.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Business partners to analyze the experiment results with statistical methods
  • Develop the scalable data pipeline for analytical ready datasets to automate KPI calculations.
  • Translate complex test results into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy and campaign performance.
  • Partner across Lines of Business, Data & Analytics, Technology, Digital, and Marketing to embed experimentation into the end-to-end campaign lifecycle.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership to inform client engagement, personalization, and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain documentation, ensure data security compliance, and promote best practices within the organization.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics, experimentation, or data science
  • Academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, statistical significance, hypothesis testing)
  • Understanding of Statistics & Causal Inference concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, power analysis, T-test, Z-Test, ANOVA)
  • Programming experience with large databases/datasets using Python, SQL, and/or PySpark
  • Demonstrated experience designing and evaluating marketing experiments with measurable business impact
  • Understanding of enterprise marketing strategy and banking products

Nice to Have:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics, experimentation, or data science
  • Experience with personalization, targeting, or decision-making platforms
  • Experience with Python-based statistical packages (statsmodels, scipy, numpy)
  • Proficiency in marketing-related machine learning techniques in Python (e.g., classification, regression, ranking)
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Experience with large-scale client engagement programs
  • Advanced certifications or additional training in advanced testing methodologies (e.g., uplift modelling, Bayesian methods)
