  • Lead the production and maintenance of recurring reporting and data refresh processes that track client behaviour and market insights.

  • Work with internal data, third-party datasets (e.g. Environics), and competitor information to support network planning, market optimization and strategic initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance analytics capabilities, improving processes and enabling more efficient insight generation.

  • Maintain rigorous data quality controls and ensure compliance with internal and external governance practices across data, modeling, and 3rd party software ecosystems.

  • Prioritize high-impact projects, partner with stakeholders where needed, and ensure timely delivery of clear insights to meet business needs.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must have:

  • Strong analytical background with 5+ years of experience in market, geospatial analytics or related business discipline.

  • Comfortable working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources in Excel and databases.

  • Experience working with geospatial or location-based data, third-party market and demographic datasets.

  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining data accuracy, quality, governance and documentation standards

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly to understand new datasets, tools and business concepts.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and processing data.

  • Familiarity with RBC data sources and internal data environments.

  • Experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to support data preparation and analysis.

  • Proficiency with Alteryx and Tableau.

What’s in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
