What is the opportunity?

As Senior Manager, Product Management – Digital & Transformation Strategy, you will lead transformational initiatives for Canadian Private Banking, driving strategies that help scale and modernize our business – ensuring we remain market leader with a best-in-class product suite.

You will collaborate with enterprise partners, leveraging your project management and subject matter expertise to translate complex business challenges into innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance our product suite and create elevated value for our clients.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to a set of complex initiatives from multiple disciplines (deposit growth strategy, credit transformation, product and process design, technology improvement)
  • Collaborate with business partners across RBC to define, scope, and address Private Banking opportunities, acting as a thought partner to bring enterprise context and creative solutions
  • Lead structured problem-solving and ideation sessions, applying strategy frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean management, Systems Thinking, Agile) to define and solve Private Banking challenges
  • Lead change management and stakeholder engagement to drive successful adoption of new capabilities
  • Proactively identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost efficiencies while mitigating risk and improving the client experience
  • Develop project plans including scope, timelines, stakeholders, resources, and risk mitigation strategies; provide recommendations to senior leaders
  • Assess and manage risk across initiatives in partnership with Enterprise Product Teams (Credit/Cards/Deposits) AML, Risk, Technology & Operations, and other key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the review of product pricing to ensure revenue optimization

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • 5+ years project management experience with demonstrated ability to manage multi-stage, complex initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of financial products including deposits and credit
  • Advanced data analysis skills – ability to identify data sources, build models, and translate insights into clear business recommendations
  • Proficiency with strategy frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean management, Systems Thinking, Agile)
  • Strategic business sense, agility and creative mindset with proven ability to effectively partner and succeed in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Passionate change agent with proven ability as a self-starter and creative problem solver
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – ability to synthesize complex information and present compelling recommendations

Nice-To-Have

  • Product Management Experience
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience and knowledge of database solutions, process executions as well as marketing technology tools
  • Education or experience in Business and Data Strategy, Analytics and/or Computer Sciences
