What is the Opportunity?

This role will focus on delivering foundational marketing insights and digital optimization to enable scalable, ROI-focused marketing strategies for RBCx. The ideal candidate is looking to

  • Own end-to-end analytics for campaign performance, user funnels, and conversion touchpoints
  • Drive measurable impact through experimentation and optimization strategies
  • Work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment tied to one of Canada’s largest banks

What will you do?

  • Dashboarding & Insights: Create and maintain dashboards in BI platforms (eg. Tableau) tracking channel, campaign performance, attribution and funnel metrics. Translate data into actionable recommendations for marketers and executives
  • Digital Optimization: Analyze A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and segmentation strategies to improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and maximize user lifetime value (LTV). Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to embed optimization into product development and campaign execution.
  • ROI-Driven Analysis: Collaborate with the Advanced analytics function to quantify marketing impact through ROI modeling, incremental lift analysis, and ad-hoc deep dives. Prioritize high-impact initiatives using data-backed roadmaps.
  • Process Innovation: Streamline reporting workflows, adopt emerging tools (e.g. RBC Lumina platform, LLMs) and mentor teams on analytics best practices.
  • Documentation: Contribute to documentation, quality control, and enablement materials for BI assets and reporting

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Analytics & Optimization Expertise: 3+ years hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g.,Optimizely, VWO), heatmapping tools (CrazyEgg), and CRO methodologies

Dashboard Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tableau/Power BI and marketing & product analytics suites (Google Analytics, Amplitude)

  • Technical Toolkit: SQL, Python, and Excel for data extraction, modeling, and automation
  • Statistical Fluency: Deep understanding of experimental design, significance testing, and causal inference.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to connect analytics to tangible business outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, cost efficiency).
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills to simplify complex insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Degree in quantitative field (Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics).

  • Emerging: Snowflake, LLMs, Jupyter Notebooks
