What is the opportunity?
As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be part of the Marketing team supporting RBC Global Asset Management’s (RBC GAM) Individual Investor business in Canada. This role combines administrative support to the Managing Director, Marketing with hands-on marketing coordination activities. You’ll be the organizational backbone of the team, ensuring smooth operations through meticulous expense and travel management, vendor invoice processing, budget tracking, and calendar coordination. Working closely with marketing and event managers, you’ll help execute marketing plans and digital activities that support RBC GAM’s business goals while maintaining the high standards of quality and accuracy our clients expect.
What will you do?
Administrative & Operational Excellence
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Managing Director, Marketing including calendar management, travel coordination, team meeting and event logistics
- Process expenses and invoices in collaboration with Finance and Accounts Payable teams with careful attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Maintain and update the team’s budget tracker, ensuring all information is current and precise
- Coordinate team events including agenda development, catering arrangements, and guest speaker bookings
- Support onboarding activities for new team members
Marketing Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Work collaboratively with marketing leadership and third-party vendors to support sponsorship activations and branded opportunities
- Support the execution of marketing tactics and digital activities across multiple campaigns
- Review marketing collateral for accuracy and quality, ensuring error-free delivery to stakeholders
- Coordinate translation and compliance approvals for marketing materials, tracking deliverables through the approval process
- Assist with data collection and reporting, maintaining accuracy in all documentation
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Use project management tools (Wrike, Asana) to track workflows and maintain clear communication across the team
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing coordinator or executive assistant role, preferably within the investment industry
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in all work
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Comfort working with various digital platforms and technologies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines while maintaining precision
Nice-to-have
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related field
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Marketing Cloud, Seismic, CRM, CMS, Wrike)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
