This role will drive innovative, social-first campaigns that cut through the noise of both traditional and digital challenger banks, creating moments that matter and positioning RBC as the bank of choice for YYA.

What will you do?

  • Stay ahead of the curve on trends, behaviors, and cultural moments. Mining for insights that inform campaign development and ensure we remain relevant

  • Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns (ages 0-24), with a strong focus on social media, AI search, media planning and comfortable with production

  • Storytelling using AI tools to build data-driven narratives and decks that bring campaign strategies to life, influencing both external agency partners and internal stakeholders to align on vision and move programs forward

  • Leverage AI-driven insights and evolving search behaviors to optimize campaign performance, discover new opportunities, and stay competitive in a rapidly changing digital landscape

  • Partner with creative and media agencies to develop breakthrough campaigns that deliver brand and business results, every dollar drives measurable results

  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills, maintaining momentum across campaign planning, budget management, execution, measurement, and optimization

  • Champion a data-driven approach to marketing. Analyzing campaign performance, extracting actionable insights, and using analytics to inspire smarter decisions and continuous improvement

  • Monitor competitive activity and emerging platforms, identifying opportunities to establish RBC's "first banking relationships" with international students and young Canadians

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with proven success developing and executing digital/social first programs and integrated campaigns; Agency background (creative, media, or digital agency) is a huge plus with production experience

  • High interest and working knowledge of how AI is shaping search, content discovery, and digital marketing - including experience experimenting with AI-powered tools and strategies

  • Exceptional storytelling skills and the ability to build compelling presentation decks that influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams

  • Proven ability to manage and influence external agency partners and internal cross-functional teams to move programs forward and deliver results

  • Strong data analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign metrics, extract insights, and make data-inspired decisions that drive performance

  • Extremely organized with strong project management capabilities - you effortlessly juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment without missing a beat

  • Independent and proactive mindset - you don't wait to be told what to do; you identify opportunities, bring forward ideas, and take ownership of outcomes
