Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Data Analytics, HR Governance position will coordinate and manage data-related requirements within the HR Governance team. You will be a subject matter expert regarding data and data analysis and will maintain accurate data relating to regulatory requirements (such as SMCR and Whistleblowing) and provide accurate, user-friendly MI for senior management forums. You will utilise data and data analytics expertise to provide advice on, and implement, enhancements to how data is stored, maintained, updated and reported on.

What will you do?

Whistleblowing and Retaliation Monitoring

  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requirements, this will include quarterly reports to HRC and SMFs, grievances and retaliation monitoring, quarterly analysis of new and emerging trends on employee concerns for WBC and Trend Analysis Forum, quarterly reports to Enterprise ER on cases and retaliation monitoring
  • Routine retaliation monitoring, including bi-weekly monitoring of leavers, redundancies, PIPs and disciplinaries, monthly monitoring of changes to reporting lines, job mandates and remuneration, year-end monitoring of performance ratings (YoY and peer group comparison), monthly retaliation monitoring report for Head of HR and Whistleblowing Champion
  • Monitoring completion of online training for people managers
  • Bi-weekly testing of the WB reporting line
  • Monitoring of implementation of recommendations made as part of investigations

Senior Manager & Certification Regime (SMCR)

  • Assistance with Workday design/implementation relating to SMCR requirements
  • Regular auditing of data changes (made by other HR Governance team members) within a variety of systems to ensure accuracy
  • Weekly Business Manager attestation process to capture changes to SMCR population, and upload of changes to FCA Register
  • Monthly reporting and data analysis for SMCR Management Committee and SMCR Oversight Forum
  • Super-user for Trailight tool to make system changes and updates
  • Manage 30 day travel process to identify potential overseas visitors who are in scope for SMCR
  • Assistance with year-end Annual F&P review and MiFID K&C reviews including monitoring of, and reporting on, completion of various elements of the F&P process (self-attestations, manager attestations, background screening) and issuing annual F&P certificates
  • Review and approve regulated background screening reports
  • Monthly mapping of SMF's and other regulatory roles

HR Department Risk

  • BCP
  • Tracking audit points & other recommendations/improvements

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proven experience of data analytics in a regulated environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to present data in an attractive and user-friendly way, including advanced PowerPoint skills

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of local regulations, such as SMCR and Whistleblowing
  • Knowledge and experience of databases such as Tableau, Workday and ADP
