Business Intelligence Analyst We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will support our teams in the development and execution of strategies by providing category data and insights. You will get involved in stakeholder communications and maintaining relationships with multiple business functions. We are on a journey to completely transform how we do business, and we offer a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work with: Leading tools and systemsA data-driven and customer-centric cultureStrong, collaborative team of energetic and experienced colleagues What You’ll DoIn this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that drive financial performance, category growth, and better decision-making across the business.Business Intelligence Provide expertise and practical assistance in the ad hoc investigation, evaluation, and interpretation of data, themes, and trendsIntegrate multiple sources of data and insight into a cohesive, consultative presentation to internal clientsHelp to develop insights – focus on simplistic measures of performance and providing the ‘so what’ to our internal clientsAnalyze business and market trends related to private label, eCommerce, and adjacent categories to recommend strategies that improve category performance.Manage large analytical projects, and help develop new reports and views of data for business stakeholdersBe able to interact with different lines of business, and direct flow of requests to third party consultants and data providersDevelop relationships within the business clientele, and integrate analytical views into their decision-making processes What You Bring Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a DEC with at least 4 years of relevant experienceProficiency in programming and query languages (SQL or Python)Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as TableauExperience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks) preferredStrong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skillsExperience with audience or market data (Nielsen or similar) preferred Sobeys is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process and will work with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of this process.While all responses are appreciated only those being considered for interviews will be acknowledged.
