Here's how you'll help make a difference: Experience• No prior experience required Main Responsibilities• Adhere to company procedures, standards, and policies in all situations• Greet customers politely and courteously• Provide superior customer service, in accordance with Sobeys programs• Ensure shelves are stocked with fruits and vegetables and related products (frozen, perishable, and non-perishable)• Maintain and prepare displays according to Sobeys programs• Rotate stock• Load and unload products for the sales floor• Manage the back office and inventory• Operate a cash register as needed to assist during peak hours• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager• Available evenings and weekends Your Qualities and Strengths: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to learn quickly• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong motivation and a proactive attitude Teamwork• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing• Strong customer service skills• Works safely and responsibly• Ability to work a flexible schedule• Evening and weekend availability strongly encouraged• Constant lifting of items up to 20 pounds• Constant need to stretch and grasp items• Frequent need to bend, walk, stand, twist, push, or pull• Occasional need to lift items from 20 to 50 pounds• Occasional use of computer and point-of-sale system• Occasional need to stoop, kneel, and squat
