Here’s where you’ll have an impact: PA Job Duties for Continuing Care: Prescription data entry, assembly, and preparation for delivery to nursing homesWorking with various electronic medication administration software, including Catalyst and Point Click CareLearning and being familiar with the necessary process needed for accurate automationWorking with pharmacy automation including PacMed, PacVision and PacRoll softwareReceiving telephone refill requests and questions from nursing home staffOrdering and replenishing suppliesDrug order creation and receivingAdministrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocksAdhere to and implement all applicable company standardsAssist with other pharmacy operations as required What you bring to the table: Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute Previous pharmacy experience is an asset Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
