Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Technical Lead- Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our marketing technology platforms.In this senior leadership role, you will drive execution, improve user experience, and align technical delivery with business goals ensuring the solutions are secure, scalable, and performant. You’ll act as a hands on technical lead, guiding decisions, supporting the team, and helping evolve our platform capabilities over time. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton; NS, Dartmouth; NS, Mississauga; ONPlease note, this role requires proven, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360. Key Responsibilities Drive execution by shaping user experience and aligning technical delivery with business prioritiesServe as the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data CloudTranslate business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutionsProvide guidance on design decisions, balancing practicality, performance, and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver business valueBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a bridge between business and technical teamsCommunicate complex technical concepts and platform capabilities in a clear, business-friendly wayEnsure alignment on priorities, timelines, risks, and outcomes throughout deliverySupport end-to-end delivery including backlog refinement, solution design, development, and release coordinationLead or support Agile ceremonies and help remove delivery blockersEnsure high-quality releases through testing, validation, and deployment practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (data, integration, security) to deliver cohesive solutionsMentor and support developers through code and configuration reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidanceFoster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and shared ownershipMonitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvementEnsure adherence to Salesforce best practices including security, data governance, and performance standardsParticipate in change management (RFCs, CAB) and manage release-related impacts (including Salesforce Trust)Maintain documentation, platform standards, and operational processesManage licenses, access, and platform usage; support governance and billing oversightDrive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities in tooling, processes, and platform usageSupport reduction of technical debt and improvements in testing, monitoring, and reliability #LI-HybridCore Competencies Required: Deep, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360Strong understanding of data concepts (segmentation, identity resolution, activation)Experience delivering and supporting enterprise platform solutionsSolid understanding of integrations, system design, and scalable solution thinkingStrong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical conceptsPractical, solution-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills What You Bring Consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to business needsImproved user experience and strong platform adoptionReliable, optimized platform performance with continuous improvementA collaborative team member who works effectively across distributed teams and contributes to a positive, inclusive environmentSupports a team-first environment by sharing knowledge and contributing to collective successOperates with a high degree of independence while remaining aligned with team priorities Education & Experience Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360 capabilitiesBachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)5 - 8+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or CRM/MarTech environmentsFamiliarity with or experience working with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms, particularly in support of evolving data and activation use casesExperience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to support delivery of complex technical solutions in an enterprise setting
