Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a Full-time opportunity for a Specialist Retail Execution. This role is based out of our office in Dartmouth, NS Represent Pharmacy on Projects / Initiatives for Retail Systems Act as the Pharmacy / Lawtons retail operations SME on project teams.Capture and communicate pharmacy requirements that differ from grocery retail.Review system capabilities, settings, and configurations to optimize pharmacy workflow.Embrace national harmonization while recognizing and adapting for pharmacy differences.Perform user acceptance testing and work with project / IT / pharmacy teams to ensure optimal performance for pharmacy users. System / Process Training and Adoption Lead functional and technical training sessions on retail systems, tools, and processes.Ensure clear and current training content and SOPs for all retail procedures / systems – leveraging national while ensuring pharmacy specific content.Monitor adoption and engage operations to improve usage and performance.Be a resource for stores, providing ongoing support as requested.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop execution plans. Monitor Store Operations Issues Escalate urgent issues.Review / escalate / solution unresolved issues past SLA.Determine root cause and solution recurring issues. Monitor Store KPIs Develop / analyze KPI reporting to identify opportunities.Escalate underperforming areas to operations.Recommend and implement improvement initiatives (backstage and store) for recurring issues. #LI-Hybrid Store Communication Work with backstage teams to determine relevance of communications / policies to pharmacy teammates, adjusting content as necessary.Identify gaps in communication to ensure pharmacy teammates receive important updates.Ensure consistent communication approach by backstage – SharePoint updates, e-mail etc.Maintenance of pharmacy SharePoint sites with links to national sites as required.Post operations communications / reminders. The ideal candidate will have: An Undergraduate Degree.In depth knowledge of retail procedures and policies - knowledge of pharmacy an asset.Working knowledge of retail systems – point of sale, cash office, ordering, hr, reporting etc.Experience in User Acceptance Testing.Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical reportingExperience in process improvement with training or understanding of Lean Six Sigma principals
